Vizzion aggregates live road imagery and provides data and services to major brands in the mapping, media, public safety, ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), and traffic & weather industries. Our imagery is used by millions of users every week, saving drivers time, money, and frustration, while also helping the environment by reducing vehicle emissions.

We are seeking a business-minded individual to assist with our sales efforts. The position is a unique opportunity to observe and participate in many aspects of a software engineering business and is limited only by your own ability to learn and grow. The position would suit an individual with two years of experience in sales, with experience or interest in software.

As a successful candidate, you will play a key role in researching industries and prospects, educating prospects about our solutions, answering questions from our customers, winning deals, and learning about market needs to help guide the direction of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquiring additional revenue streams from existing clientele as well as bringing on new customers who can benefit from our products
  • Develop a deep understanding of your assigned industries through research, discussion with clients and prospects, and attendance of tradeshows
  • Participate in the full sales process from initial emails and phone calls, customizing marketing materials, sales presentations/demos, proposals, negotiation, and some customer service/after-sales support
  • Occasional travel across North America and Europe to attend tradeshows and visit clients (approx. 2-8 times per year)

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (if currently in the final year of study, part-time work is accepted until the end of the semester)
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Clear communication skills, comfortable on phone calls and in meetings
  • Confidence to pitch products and close deals
  • A sense of urgency and productivity
  • Strong technical acumen
  • Creative problem solver
  • Proven track record of being detail-oriented and methodical
  • Authorized to work in Canada
