Our imagery is used by millions of users every week, saving them time, money and frustration, while also helping the environment by reducing vehicle emissions. We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Systems Administrator to help with maintenance and troubleshooting.

As the sole Systems Administrator you will be responsible for all IT related issues. You will play a key role in keeping our team productive and safe, improving processes, and integrating new tools and technologies. The position is a unique opportunity to observe and participate in every aspect of a small software engineering business.

We are located in North Vancouver, close to transit and many amenities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor IT infrastructure, which includes workstations, servers and network components
  • Conduct routine system maintenance, software updates and security patches
  • Conduct daily, weekly and monthly backups and implement disaster recovery
  • Monitor system health and proactively identify and address potential issues
  • Procure IT equipment and manage inventory
  • Manage workstation and server UPS
  • Create and manage Microsoft Exchange mailboxes. Troubleshoot mail delivery issues
  • Administer user accounts and permissions
  • Create and enforce IT security policies and train employees
  • Document technical configurations and procedures for knowledge sharing

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Diploma in a relevant discipline
  • 2+ years’ experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role
  • Excellent communicator, fluent in spoken and written English
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Able to learn quickly and effectively apply new knowledge
  • Experience with Windows 10 and Windows Server 2019
  • Troubleshooting of workstation and server hardware
  • Active Directory, DNS and DCHP
  • Routing and Switching
  • General cybersecurity knowledge
  • Office 2019/Office 365
  • Microsoft Exchange Online
  • Microsoft Dynamics
  • VPN knowledge
  • Azure Dev Ops
  • Azure cloud services
