Vizzion provides industry leading traffic and weather data services to brands such as Mercedes-Benz and Microsoft. Our traffic camera software solutions are used by millions of users every week, saving them time, money, and frustration, while also helping the environment by reducing vehicle emissions.
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist with our marketing efforts across the automotive, mapping, media, public safety, transportation, and insurance industries. The position is a unique opportunity to observe and participate in many aspects of a software engineering business, and is limited only by your own ability to learn and grow. The position would suit a recent graduate looking to gain experience in the software industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tracking metrics to measure the success of our sales and marketing activities
- Planning and organization for trade show exhibition and attendance
- Article and press release writing, social media management
- Industry research, competitive and market analysis
- Updating marketing materials, slide decks, website, preparing info for customers
- Google Analytics, SEO
- Occasional travel within North America (~2 times/year), possibly Europe or Asia
Skills and Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Proven track record of being detail-oriented and methodical
- Authorized to work in Canada
